"An item?", curiously asks Kevin.

"Yeah. She told me that we were together before the accident. Why?"

"Oh, no reason. No reason at all. I think that my time is about up.

So, I think that I'll go get the others.", Kevin says as he gets up.

"Did I say something wrong?", AJ asks in shock.

Kevin walks over to the closed door, "No. It's nothing." He opens the door and calls in the others. They all travel into the room. Kevin closes the door behind them. "There is something that I think is important that Marrissa should tell us all.", Kevin says as he turns to Marrissa.

"What?", she asks with a guilty concience.

"Just tell us about what you told AJ.", he says with a grin. "Don't be shy, tell all of us about your relationship with AJ."

"Relationship?!", Nick shouts out.

"Well, I a...", she mumbles.

"There was a relationship, right Marrissa? You wouldn't lie to me, would you?", asks AJ.

"I, I didn't mean to. I just wasn't thinking.", she says as she starts to get upset. "I can't beleive you! I just met you, and you're already lying to me!", AJ says, as he too starts to get upset. "You saved my life, and in the process, you're also ruining it!"

"I really didn't mean to. I'm really sorry for all this.", she runs out of the door with tears in her eyes.

The next day, she was still thinking about what happened. All day she was listening to her ßackstreet ßoys CD, and she drowned her tears in her pillow. She decided to write a letter to AJ explaining the whole situation. She got up from her bed, and sat down at her work desk in her room. She started writing:

"Dear AJ, I'm writing you this letter because my actions caused you, and myself to get hurt. In other words, I'm the one who started all of your problems. I was depressed the night of your accident, aand I had a few drinks. I wasn't sober enough, and I went into my car. I was driving drunk, and I saw you walking down the alley way. I had no control over my actions, and I hit you with my car. I didn't mean to, but I did have just a little too much to drink. I paniced and I just drove away. About 10 minutes later, I went back to see if you were okay. I was going to tell you, but I couldn't. I just couldn't get the words out of my mouth. I felt responsible (maybe cuz I was), so I dialed 911 for you. Later at the hospital, I found out that you had amnesia. I just knew that I shouldn't of told you the story of you and I together before the accident. I took advantage of the situation, but I mostly took advantage of you. The main reason why I'm writing you this letter, is to apologize, and because of the guilt that has built up inside of me. I'm really sorry. Love, Marrissa"

The next day, she bravely mailed her letter to AJ. She felt better now that she had at least written what had really happened. But she would always have to live with what she had done.

A week later, AJ had received Marrissa's letter. He read what she had written. He found it in his heart to forgive Marrissa for her actions. Although Marrissa did hurt AJ, he still never showed the letter to any of the other ßackstreet ßoys, or any one else. He took the letter, and hid it in a secret place. The letter was known to him as "their little secret". Which it was.
